Thanks to all for a great week of bareboating in the Whitsundays. We are really happy with all aspects of the week (even though the weather was below par for this time of year).

‘Miss Polly' is a great boat (It is the 3rd Lightwave that I've chartered and by far the best of any of them) and Gerry did a good job of presenting the boat and the briefing. 

We were particularly pleased with being able to stay on board the night before because it meant we could complete our provisioning the day prior and could therefore get out of Abel Point earlier than on all previous (5) charters. This means that the first day can be really useful and enjoyable instead of a rush to get to an anchorage for the night.

Once again thanks and I'll be recommending Whitsunday Escape to anyone who intends to bareboat in the Whitsundays.

I have to say that was the most relaxing week I have spent in a long time. The boat and associated equipment were first rate as was the briefing and the service.

Having lived in the Whitsundays for a while some thirty years ago it was wonderful to rediscover the beauty of the islands, and doing it on one of your vessels was the perfect way to do it. "It's something I will definitely organise again and your company will definitely be my first "port of call".

I can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful holiday. It wasn’t just a relaxing break for my wife and I, it was also an adventure for my two boys. Every day we had so many great things to do from exploring the coastline in the kayaks, fishing, experiencing fantastic waterfalls and playing on the beaches. We caught more than 12 different species of fish, saw whales, saw lots of dolphins, scooped up bait fish off the back of the boat, enjoyed great sunsets and we even had time to spend our evenings together as a family.

The boat was great but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Whitsunday Escape who really do a great job I looking after their boats. We’re already looking forward to next time with you guys.

Hello everyone at Whitsunday Escape

I just wanted to thank everyone for such a trouble free and fantastic holiday. Our week on Zig Zag was unbelievable and the memories are sustaining me through being back at work!  The yacht was spotlessly clean and everything worked perfectly.  I made a pretty mean Saffron Porcini Risotto in the galley and dining outside every night listing to the whales breaching was a magical experience.  Our sail from Stonehaven to Abel Point Marina in fresh SSE winds was a highlight – Zig Zag was balanced perfectly and cut through the passage with ease. 

Can’t wait to come back one day. All the best.

Just a brief note to thank you all for the best time we have had to date sailing the magnificent Whitsunday Islands. Sunrush's performance in all seas and wind conditions exceeded my expectations compared to other vessels of equivalent displacement I have chartered.

She was presented in A1 condition and hence had no issues over our 21 nights enjoying to the max what the Whitsunday's have to offer.
We had a number of friends and family who joined us from time to time and all had a great experience and again commented on the professional and friendly manner of the Whitsunday Escape team.

Very well organised – Terry gave a fantastic briefing and we enjoyed every single moment from sailing the turquoise waters to snorkelling with turtles and watching the awesome sunsets.  Will definitely be back!

We really miss having someone check on us each day at 8 and 2pm! Perhaps only good thing is we can use as much damn toilet paper as we want now!! Ha! Just wanted to thank you all, as a great team!

This photo was taken early in our trip, as there are no tissues nearby, as towards the end we got quite upset at the thought of having to leave Serenity. I think the photo sums up our relaxing evenings! We left her on Hamilton Island, and hope that all went great in picking her up, and that we had left her exactly as we found her, in perfect clean condition.

We do hope we can come again. We did have a fabulous time. Our very best regards.

A totally relaxing experience form start  to finish. The reservation process worked well and we were contacted regulalrly to update us. On arrival the vessel and provisioning were ready to go and after our induction we set of into a tropical paradise. Whilst the S Easters were quite brisk we found fantastic sheltered anchorages as suggested by WE staff and checked if better alternatives were available on our daily calls.

Serenity was in good order and made a delightful escape very pleasurable. We hope to retun soon.
