Cruise Whitsunday Ferries operate from Hamilton Island Airport Jetty to Abel Point Marina South Section Time Approx. 1hr/15 mins – 1hr/30 mins.

Adults one way $50 Children (4-14 years). $22

You will also need a taxi to take your baggage only from the south section of the marina to the Whitsunday Escape base at the north section cost approx $8.

Hamilton Island does not permit Cruise Whitsunday to take bookings at the airport all bookings need to be made in advance.

HAMILTON ISLAND MARINA JETTY TO SHUTE HARBOUR JETTY

Fantasea Ferries operate from Hamilton Island Marina Jetty to Shute Harbour jetty throughout the day. One way $40/ adult $22/child (4-14 years).

The Hamilton Island Airport Jetty is about 10 minuets from the Marina jetty An island shuttle which runs approx every 20 minutes will charge you $8.00 each to take you from one to the other.

MACKAY AIRPORT TO AIRLIE BEACH

Mackay Airport is about a one and a half hour drive south of Airlie Beach. Transport options are a rental car or a bus with Greyhound.

Greyhound busses currently stop at the airport three times a day and the cost is presently about $25. Bookings can be made by phone 1300 473 946 or online though www.greyhound.com.au click on booking, then make a booking, select Mackay Airport to Airlie Beach. You may need to take a short taxi from Airlie Beach to Able Point Marina, as they will not drop you off at the Marina.
